The drama is formerly known as The Gun’s Loaded. Xiaozhuang is now working in film and TV industry, but he has memorable experience in military barracks. Meeting his squad leader Laopao by chance reminds him of the past when he was young and dropped out to join the army following his girlfriend. Xiaozhuang is a young man with strong personalities who is in constant conflicts with callous and old-fashioned Laopao. After vigorous exercises and training, Xiaozhuang grows up from a new recruit to a scout winning honors to a commando at last. He and his comrades in the army are finding their way in the storm of shots and shells, experiencing life and death, blood and tears.
